City Arts of San Mateo is a charitable, non-profit arts advisory and resource organization
established by resolution of the San Mateo City Council in 1996. Our mission is to enrich the
city and the citizens of San Mateo by actively promoting excellence, access, education,
participation and diversity in the visual, literary and performing arts.

City Arts of San Mateo was also the recipient of the 2003 Peninsula Arts Council Diamond Award
for Outstanding Arts Organization.
