The Central Park Music Series was a sequence of performances held in open-air in the city of San Mateo by City Arts to increase interest and involvement of people in any type of art form.

At former instances of the Central Park Music Series, City Arts of San Mateo would invite everyone to join them at Central Park in downtown San Mateo every Thursday, starting with the 12th of July.

Between specific hours for several weeks, people were invited to attend a totally free concert with performances offered by different local and national artists. Music lovers of all ages come and view the show and hear some of the city’s newest talent putting on several shows.
