The beautiful City of San Mateo in California was first inhabited by the Ohlone Indians tribe 4000 years ago. Golfers will be pleasantly surprised to find that San Mateo is one of the few cities in California that features a municipal, 18 hole golf course and a 12,000 square-foot club house. Golf lessons are imparted there for both adults and children.

You may also visit Central Park, a public park in downtown San Mateo with an extension of approximately 16 acres. It features several playgrounds, mini trains (on weekends), tennis courts, a Japanese tea garden and a picturesque koi pond.
